CCLASSIC  MOVIE  MONSTERS

The United States Post Office has recently issued a series of 5 stamps featuring "CLASSIC MOVIE MONSTERS", Released on September 30, 1997. Thomas Blackshear, a multi-talented contemporary illustrator, designed this series of commemorative stamps. He has created over twenty stamps with a range of themes, as well as illustrated a commemorative stamp book for the United States Postal Service. On October 1, 1997 Mr. Blackshear autographed sheets of stamps, and covers at his gallery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Postal service sanctioned a special Gallery postmark for the event.

We designed 24 sets of 5 covers for the artist-signing event. Thomas Blackshear personally signed the Frankenstein Cover in each set. The signature is in gold. There is a limited number of sets available for the price of $50.00+$1.00 shipping.
